在pre level阶段，我们已经学习过了26个字母本身的读音，也就是字母名，英文叫letter name，那letter sound和letter name有什么区别呢？

一、字母名和字母音的区别

字母名就是字母本身的读音，比如a的字母名是/ei/，b的字母名是/bi:/，f的字母名是/ef/。

只有26个字母有字母名，字母名是固定的、单一的。

字母音是指字母或字母组合对应的音标音，比如b的字母音是/b/，ea的字母音可以是/i:/（比如tea中的ea发/i:/），也可以是/e/（比如head中的ea发/e/），字母音是多对多的，比如：a的字母音就超过5种。

这节课我们先来学习26个字母常见的字母音。

二、26个字母音的学习

1、a

a的长元音发/ei/，比如：make，cake→make a cake。

I want to make a cake.

practice：lake、name、game。

a的短元音发/æ/，比如：fat，cat→a fat cat。

It's a fat cat.

practice：dad，bag，man。

2、e

e的长元音发/i:/，比如：he，she→he and she。

He and she are my friends.

practice：we，me，be。

e的短元音发/e/，比如：wet，pet→a wet pet。

It is a wet pet.

practice：ten，net，hen。

3、i

i的长元音发/ai/，比如：like，kite→like the kite。

I like the kite.

practice：ice，rice，time。

i的短元音发/i/，比如：big，pig→a big pig。

It's a big pig.

practice：ship，kid，dig。

4、o

o的长元音发/əʊ/，比如：go，home→go home。

I want to go home.

practice：no，so，old。

o的短元音发/ɒ/，比如：top，mop→the top mop。

Please give me the top mop.

5、u

u的长元音发/ju:/，比如：use，computer→use a computer。

I use a computer.

practice：cute，mute，super。

u的短元音发/ʌ/，比如：luck，duck→a luck duck。

b的发音为/b/，比如：big，box→a big box。
